Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules governing use of HELM Fleet Command. Violation of this AUP may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

2. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the Platform to: 2.1 ILLEGAL ACTIVITY — Violate any applicable local, national, or international law — Facilitate money laundering, sanctions evasion, or financial crime — Engage in any maritime piracy or illegal fishing activity — Falsify or tamper with any regulatory logbook entry — this may constitute a criminal offence under maritime law — Submit false information to port state control or flag state authorities using Platform-generated documents 2.2 PLATFORM MISUSE — Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or vessel data — Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the Platform's source code, AI models, or proprietary algorithms — Scrape, harvest, or extract Platform data using automated tools — Use the Platform to develop a competing product or service — Share your account credentials with persons who are not authorised users under your subscription — Exceed the vessel and crew limits of your subscription plan without upgrading 2.3 AI FEATURE MISUSE — Use AI Features to generate false, fabricated, or misleading logbook entries, compliance records, or official documents — Submit AI-generated incident reports or compliance documents to maritime authorities without human review and verification — Attempt to manipulate AI Features to produce outputs designed to deceive regulators, insurers, or other authorities — Use AI Features as a substitute for professional maritime, legal, medical, or safety advice in an emergency situation 2.4 SAFETY-CRITICAL MISUSE — Rely solely on the MOB Protocol feature as the primary or only emergency response in a Man Overboard situation — Use AI Passage Planner outputs without independent verification against current charts, NOTAMs, and local knowledge — Disable or override safety alerts or compliance warnings in the Platform 2.5 HARMFUL CONTENT — Upload or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights — Upload malware, viruses, or any code designed to harm the Platform or other users

3. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it immediately to hello@helm-command.com with the subject line "AUP Violation Report".

4. Consequences of Violation

Violation of this AUP may result in: (a) immediate account suspension; (b) permanent account termination without refund; (c) reporting to relevant maritime authorities where required by law; (d) legal action for damages. We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation and to cooperate with law enforcement authorities.
